A little update from what I've found, for the folks who are waiting patiently for this manga to continue. I might have some major bad news... From what I've learned personally, it seems the mangaka (the artist for this manga and NOT the author of the original novel) is a woman. This person posts about some personal stuff on Twitter, and it seems that they're one of those people who have become deeply enveloped by the whole "T-word" agenda. One of the more recent posts from this mangaka speaks to people questioning that the mangaka has gotten married to another guy as "both men" when it is not religiously possible in their location. The mangaka explains that "I am one of those people who is a woman, but want to become a man. And I have not had the surgical operation to become a man yet, so at the time my husband and I got married, we were still allowed to have the union." Majority of the latest posts from this mangaka seems to be focused on comic panels made for BL-focused content, but at the very least back in late March, there is at least one post that mentions the mangaka is still "assigned" to work on this series, and is trying to continue the manga despite it being about a year since the last chapter already. We can probably expect some huge delays to this one if the mangaka cannot manage their schedule between the BL stuff (I think that one has like 60 chapters ongoing or something---perhaps a story inspired by the mangaka's personal life as it is titled "Otto-kun/Husband-kun", other projects, this manga, and their personal life going into surgery possibly.
