The naughty elf is the god worshipped by the elves "Rurudo". He tells Cain that he can't bring the dead back to life because even gods are bound by the ultimate rules of nature. But, he offers to help Cain speak with his childhood sweetheart again via using the elf lady's body as a medium (possession probably). Cain refuses and says he's afraid of getting any sort of hope that he can be with his childhood friend again in this mortal world because even though he knows it will be temporary, he will never be able to give up on her again and accept her death like he's already done. And chasing after that false hope will be eternally painful. Cain says he will live his present life with his present family and friends until the day he leaves this mortal realm and only then will he meet with and be back together with his childhood friend again. Rurudo then points out that "You love her that much eh?" and Cain becomes embarrassed that the fact gets pointed out straight to his face. Rurudo then jabs at the fact that Cain says all those embarrassing things without hesitation but when the simple truth is pointed out to him, he gets embarrassed.
