Now I'm convinced Blast is something like Cable from X-Men. He's probably the son or relative of one of the characters and he travels through time to prevent the destruction of the world in the future by correcting stuff in the past. The god thing that gives powers to the monsters and attempted to do the same with Tatsumaki is probably something like those Celestial beings in Marvel comics, and Blast is trying to prevent that one from encroaching into the Earth.
