Claris and Edivalt are confirmed to be engaged then, at least de facto as the other nobles (from the 2nd queen's faction) also recognise that relationship.  Still, Arnold's mom should hold tighter leash on his son. Bringing Mimilia, declaring "true love" like that in public, he's really trying to screw up his mom's plan of taking in Claris. Especially with how he obviously also getting infatuated about Claris, and show it in front of his girlfriend.   That maid got the scariest face in the series so far (lol
