Wow, this series sure spiraled out of control into a sh*tty mess at this part. While I understand the whole vampire thing so he can fight under the sun, there is literally zero explanation as to why MC is pure evil here. All weve been introduced to has been the staple regular modern day student caught in a cycle of isekai summons. In fact, his summons were so short that it was boring to him because it was like nothing happened until he reached this world. So there is literally zero reason and point why MC here is acting like some psychopath who manipulates people around him. It would be different if he were introduced as an actual psycho prior to getting summoned, but we have none of that whatsoever. What we get instead is this boring extended backstory of the girl which couldve been done in like 3 chapters probably. The internal dialogues serve to pad the panels with useless imagery when the very message or point of the scene is simple which is she wants to be free. I guess the author is trying to be overly dramatic and trying to make MC a hateable character so he fits into the demon lord role? It still doesn convince me.

I don't see his actions as "pure evil", he said he needed to buy time until nightfall so reinforcements would come, the princess was desperate to live she would do anything so he took her to a dead end where she would be aware she wouldn't have where to run nor show her back to the enemies, she would only have to worry about the enemy coming her way, he left her alone because him staying there would just be an extra burden for her, he analyzed her skills during the path they took making her protect him so he knew as long as it was a normal soldier she would be able to survive, he gave her a little shadow of hope and she clung to it, and when she started having doubts she started having hallucinations, but he come in the right time with the said reinforcements

Sadly I agree with you. All the background people were shown to be fat, creepy, and evil so no one cares they died. The queen, king, and other princes were shown to be selfish and corrupt so AGAIN who cares. And the classmates we didn learn too much about, so it feels like, oof that sucks for them but thats IT. MC didn save anyone, help anyone, or really HAVE A REASON to kill anyone. Leaving me feeling indifferent about everything but the last princes that he seems to have screwed. So i guess the only feeling the author got from me was, WHAT A LONG WAIST OF TIME, and MC SEEMS LIKE A DICK.
