If this continues like the novel, the older sister, the pharmacist and slave, dies because she secretly follows the protagonist and his group who are going to exterminate the monsters to free her and take her from the village. They then introduce her to a legal slave trader who sells for less, but without her knowing the arrangement, she secretly follows them because she thinks they've left and abandoned her. The monsters kill her, the protagonist revives her, but she only lasts a few minutes before she dies again. It bothers me if it continues like the novel because the ones who deserved that fate are the sister and the saint. The saint only goes to a secluded place; that's not even close to a punishment for the crime of betrayal, and then keeping silent and being submissive. Not to mention the punishments for the hero and the guard. If he dies like in the novel, banned, he says goodbye.

Holy shiet, this village is just not worth saving. They discriminate people just because the church labels them as heretic slaves with zero proof including children. And then they buy women from corrupt officials as s*x slaves for their local militia just so they don't leave the village and go to the city to find work there.
