You were born with power already in hand so you know no hardship. You hold pride but do not know what those people who were born without power have to do to protect their own people. They hold no power and thus have to lie and connive at times, even bow their heads despite not wanting to. Pride in one's homeland and the will to use anything at your disposal to protect your people are both correct.
