Description

The young Alsrod (Arusuroddo), is eagerly waiting for the day that he’s granted a “job” in the temple. In this world when one reaches adulthood, they are granted “jobs” like swordsman or magician by divine revelation, among them the one said to be the strongest is magic swordsman. However, this job makes one’s battle power become the top-level in the battlefield, gives administration capabilities that allow to turn a small city into a big commercial city and it also elevates the leadership of the troops, becoming a Maou capable of building a country! Before long, Alsrod defeats his elder brother and becomes the feudal lord. Furthermore, he prepares himself to become a king and build his own country, considering it to be the shortest route to protect the important persons in his life and his people.

In the previous chapter: Hasse (the previous king) is framed to plan on disposing his loyal regent (Aslord, who really is wanting to take over the power). Angered by the treatment her husband received from her brother, Lumi led the army to take over the crown. She has royal blood, and so legible for the throne. She choose Aslord as her consort, and hand over the government to him when she is pregnant. So, practically, Aslord succeeded in his plan to unite the country under him.

They even went as far as framing him for assassination attempt during the peace talk, so he is thrown into jail to make sure he won bring problem later (or being used by political enemy as figurehead for example).

12 years later. After Hasses death, Lumi decided to enter the monastery and became priestess. Aslord went on journey with Seraphina and Laviala, planning on seeing new lands and start a new kingdom from nothing. Kerala choose to stay, as she loves the country as much as she loves Aslord. Fleur also stays as the prime minister.

His son from Seraphina is the new king, and today is the day he will be receiving his Job. His elf sister is supposed to be receiving it in the same day, but shes too busy going hunting and wouldn make it in time.

Altia, his aunt (whose husband is killed as traitor), told Oldrick, he doesn need to become a conqueror like his father. What he should strive for is to be a king loved by the people. She also commented she inherit his fathers talent as playboy.

Seems like it. Anyone know if the novel told at least about his other siblings in the epilogue? Fleur had a child didn't she? And Lumi should have two children. But we only see him and Laviala's daughter. Well, and his cousin.
